That...I recall in high school the yo-yo phenomenon. That is, everyone that had hands bought a yo-yo and played with it until it became boring. I remember at the time thinking how, long ago in primary school, there had been a yo-yo craze too, so I assume it got boring after a while back then too ...<BR/><BR/>The point is that everyone bought a yo-yo because somewhere someone decided to reintroduce the fad. They probably made a fortune and it's almost sickening except for the fact that yo-yos are a lot of fun. The advertising in this case, no matter how insidious in intent, served as a reminder as to how entertaining a yo-yo really is.<BR/>Which is my way of saying I agree with you;<BR/><BR/>Some things are timelessly awesome.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
